April 2016 - Parade of Parrots

By: Margot B., Tuesday April 19, 2016

April's meeting at YRPC tried a new format we called the Parade of Parrots. Organized by our own Linda Posner, club members took turns sharing facts and stories about their pet parrots' species and their own birds' quirks. The short presentations were engaging and enlightening as to the background histories of the parrots and members in our club. With a large variety of birds on hand, the Parade of Parrots provided a great opportunity to learn more about different species of birds, from parrotlets to macaws. It was particularly invaluable for anyone considering another parrot and what species might be best for them.

Join us next month for Chop Night where we formulate fresh food for our feathered friends.
